This apartment, surrounded by woods, has been undergoing reconstruction for a year. If I would told to the construction workers, that I have been enjoying the work process, they would not believe me. The result, yes, but the process - it is another story... During the whole reconstruction process, there was absolute trust between me and the owners, mutual trust and the freedom of action and creativity. The style - modern classics. It is a blend of classic and modern styles. While decorating the house, it is necessary not to overload it with details. These homes are cozy and lovely. It feels like that nature itself came into it. The impression is enhanced by the flow of light in the living room that is playing with the shadows on the curtains and floors. We picked the right fabric of curtains that fits perfectly with the whole environment. The curtains in the dining rooms are made of natural silk. They are not only practical, they also are very cosy in the whole interior décor. We have retained the natural parquet and have made a restoration of it. However, the doors and the strips around the whole floor were newly produced. In the lounge area, a rug joins the entirety of furniture. The traditional three-seater set-sofa and two armchairs are perfectly matched, even though the sofa is the work of Lithuanian artisans, whereas the armchairs and tables were designed and produced in Italy. I admire the Italians ability to design, produce and delicately decorate the furniture with subtle gold carvings. The qualitative glass chandeliers with gold dust, gives the impression of subtle luxury. They have been crafted in the Italian island of Murano by local artisans. In the hallway, I matched the table created by Italian artisans with the wardrobe crafted by the Lithuanian artisans. We have decorated the upper part of the wardrobe with gold foil ribbon, resulting in a stunning result - delicate and elegant.
The living room is decorated with a painting that was specially created to this apartment by the artist Edita Suchockytė.
