Tvarus butas
Šiame projekte siekta pažiūrėti į tvarumo temą kitu kampu. Tvaru tai ne tik ekologiškos, perdirbtos ar perdirbamos medžiagos. Tvaru tai visų pirma atsparu, tvirta, ilgaamžiška (tiek fiziškai, tiek estetiškai). Tvaru tai pagaminta Lietuvoje, lietuvių kūrėjų, dizainerių, o ne transportuota didžiulius atstumus. Taip pat, tvaru tai naujausios technologijos, leidžiančios mažinti, optimizuoti vartojimą. Visa tai tapo gairėmis, kuriomis vadovautasi projektuojant šį interjerą.
Pasirinkta gana neutrali, nepavaldi laikui estetika, kurią esant poreikiui nesunku papildyti bei atnaujinti. Natūrali, Lietuvoje pagaminta molio tinko sienų danga tapo vienu pagrindinių jaukumą interjere kuriančių elementų. Daugelis baldų bei interjero akcentų taip pat pagaminti Lietuvoje arba yra ne nauji, naudoti. Renkant medžiagas interjerui pagrindinės gairės buvo priežiūra ir dėvėjimasis, todėl grindims pasirinkta itin atspari vinilinė danga, o vonios kambario sienos dengtos mikrocementu. Viena vonios kambario siena netikėtai tapo instaliacija, puikiai atspindinčia šio buto temą – jai panaudotos dizainerės Agnės Kučerenkaitės kurtos plytelės, kurių unikali glazūra pagaminta iš įvairių atliekų.
Bute įdiegta išmani sistema, kuri leidžia efektyviai valdyti apšvietimą, šildymą bei žaliuzes. Žaliuzės užsidaro automatiškai, kuomet kaitri saulė šviečia tiesiai į langus, taip palaikant vėsą viduje vasarą. O apšvietimo valdymo sistema leidžia pagal poreikį kurti ir keisti scenarijus taip pritaikant apšvietimą kiekvieno individualiems poreikiams ar sezoniškumui.

The main goal for this project was to look at the topic of sustainability from a different angle. Sustainable is not only ecological, recycled or recyclable. Sustainable first and foremost is something that can withstand the passage of time (both physically and aesthetically). Sustainable means produced locally, in Lithuania, by Lithuanian designers and not hauled long distances. Sustainable also means integrating new technologies that allow to optimize consumption. All of this became the main guidelines for this project.
The design itself is quite neutral and timeless. It could easily be added to or renewed if needed. One of the main elements that creates a cozy base for the interior are the walls. They are decorated with clay plaster that is made in Lithuania. Most of the furniture and interior accessories are also made in Lithuania or come from secondhand retailers. When choosing the materials for this design the key parameter was durability. Therefore, the flooring is vinyl, and the bathroom walls are covered in microcement. One of the bathroom walls unexpectedly became an art installation that represents the idea of this design perfectly – the tiles used for this wall are designed by a Lithuanian designer Agnė Kučerenkaitė and are glazed with materials derived from industrial waste.
The smart home system installed in this apartment allows to effectively control lighting, heating, and window blinds. The blinds close automatically when the sun hits the windows to retain cool temperatures inside during summer. The lighting control system allows to adapt the purposefully made lighting scenarios to the client’s individual needs or seasonality.
