Sense of space and monumentality – features that we wanted to provide a compact 2 – room apartment in the new Antakalnis quarter (city of Vilnius). The curved wooden shell over the entire length of the apartment through the wall and the floor mirrors itself in the white shell through the ceiling and wall. In between a concrete form (bathroom) is inserted. The 3 dominant substances “absorb” all the necessary functions inside and leave space for the play of light and visual corridors.
