This is a private apartment in the old town of Vilnius, Lithuania. This interior combines antique and modern. In the eyes of the creator, Brigita Marija Norvaise, old and new can create the most amazing spaces with a breeze of history.

All the antique catches became an inspiration of this splendid apartment. Starting with a huge crystal chandelier and ending with around 100 years old carved sideboard. All these antique details tastefully highlighted old plaster ceiling moldings.

By focusing on natural materials like wood, marble and other stones the result of lively and sophisticated look was achieved. Brass and gold details, velvet fabrics and porcelain accessories were chosen to give luxurious look for the interior.

Designer Brigita Marija touched up this interior by choosing subtle modern furniture. Slick marble table Tavolo’95 by Achille Castiglioni (DePadova) accompanied by super elegant Laclasica chairs by Jesús Gasca (STUA). Egg Chair by Arne Jacobsen (Fritz Hansen) perfectly placed under the antique chandelier and next to an ancient tile fireplace which was restored.
