A cottage in a pine forestWhen designing this dwelling in a seaside pine forest, I, as a designer, largely took the wishes of the clients into account. They wished to have a light, cosy, stylistically classical and a colorfully-quiet home where wide open windows allow you not only to smell the pine trees and hear the sea, but also feel the cosiness while walking barefoot on a natural wood floor and enjoy the harmony of light colors and other quiet interior solutions. In order to ergonomically control the small space, individually-designed furniture have been created with every free centimeter in mind, and with great emphasis on lighting design and exquisite décor details. “Chevron” natural wood flooring with a french herringbone pattern has been chosen to enhance the style and interior aesthetics - it’s practicality, beauty, quality, and unquestionable aesthetics in one, especially when living in a house with a view of pine trees!
