Interjeras buvo kuriamas penkių butų apartamentams, skirtiems nuomai, renovuotame senamiesčio name. Pastate buvo išlikę daug XIX a. pradžios palikimo – trafaretinės sienų ir lubų tapybos, gipsinių dekoro detalių, senų durų, krosnių, šaldymo spintelių. Visi šie elementai buvo kruopsčiai atkurti ir integruoti naujose erdvėse. Kadangi keitėsi naujų patalpų poreikiai ir konstrukcijos, nebuvo galimybės išsaugoti senųjų patalpų visumos, jų kontūrų. Taip apartamentuose susipynė skirtingos sienų tapybos manieros ir spalvos. Kurdami interjerą nesistengėme atkartoti ar imituoti XIX a. tendencijų, stengėmės sukurti pagarbų dialogą tarp seno ir naujo. Remadamiesi XIX a. Vilniaus interjerams būdingomis medžiagomis, maniera, kūrėme minimalistinę atsvarą paveldui. Trafaretinė tapyba – pagrindinis šio projekto interjero akcentas – tapo ir pagrindine interjero idėja. Apartamentus suskirstėme pagal charakteringiausius dekoro pigmentus: cinoberis, umbra, ochra, indigo, siena. Visi jie skiriasi savo spalviniais sprendimais, bet siejasi bendra minimalizmo idėja. Individualumui ir charakteriui sustiprinti į kiekvieną butą įvedėme dominuojančio pigmento spalvos.

The interior was created for five individual apartments for rental purpose. The apartments are in a renovated house in Vilnius old town. A lot of historic details from 19th century were preserved in the building: stencil painting of walls and ceilings, plaster decor details, old doors, stoves, and refrigerator cabinets. All these elements have been carefully restored and integrated in the new spaces. As the needs and constructions of the new premises were changed, it was not possible to preserve the entirety of the old premises, their contours changed as well. As a result, different manners and colours of wall painting is intertwined in the apartments. When creating the interior, we did not try to replicate or imitate the 19th century trends. Instead, we tried to create a respectful dialogue between the old and the new. Based on the 19th century materials and manners characteristic to Vilnius interiors, we created a modern-day minimalist counterbalance to the heritage. Stencil painting is the main accent of the interior of this project. It serves as the main idea of the interior. We divided the apartment according to the most characteristic decor pigments: cinnabar, umbra, ochre, indigo, sienna. All of them differ, but also share the common idea of minimalism. In order to enhance individuality and character, we have introduced a dominant pigment in every individual apartment.
