Ritmo pauzė
Interjero projektas parengtas ir įgyvendintas naujos statybos trijų kambarių bute. Po ilgų diskusijų su užsakovu buvo pateiktos dvi sprendinių alternatyvos: viena – palikti esamą buto išplanavimą, antra – keisti jį ir atverti svetainę bei prie jos prijungti vieną miegamąjį kambarį. Pasirinkta antroji sprendinių alternatyva, kuri padidino svetainės–virtuvės erdvę. Atsirado vietos salai, valgomojo stalui ir atskirai poilsio zonai su sofa. Perplanavus svetainę, buvo padidintas ir miegamasis, kuriame įrengtos dvi sieninės spintos bei mini darbo zona.
Norint išsaugoti esamą patalpų aukštį, jos buvo formuojamos ir žeminamos tik dalimis – ten, kur reikėjo pravesti rekuperacinę sistemą ar įmontuoti šviestuvus. Siekiant išgauti vientisos erdvės efektą tiek sienos, tiek lubos dengtos apdailiniu tinku.
Projekte vyrauja griežtos, stačiakampės formos, atkartojančios miesto dinamiką. Joms paryškinti panaudoti metalizuoti paviršiai balduose bei parinkti matomi nerūdijančio plieno spalvos šviestuvai. Apsisaugojimui nuo saulės pasirinktos tinklinės tekstūros užuolaidos. Svetainėje atsisakyta naktinių užuolaidų, siekiant išlaikyti vizualinį ryšį su miesto ritmu.
Spalvinė paletė tamsi - vyrauja juoda ir pilka spalvos, kurias sušildo medžio tekstūra. Drąsiai pažvelgta ir į vonios erdvę – jos lubos išdažytos juodai, o plytelės parinktos tamsių atspalvių. Tinkamai suplanuotas apšvietimas nemažina erdvę, bet padaro ją jaukesne ir naikina erdvės suvokimo ribas. Kadangi bute dominuoja tamsesni tonai, ypatingas dėmesys skirtas apšvietimo projektavimui – panaudota daug balduose integruoto LED apšvietimo, kuris buvo atskleistas fotosesijos metu.

The interior design project was developed and realised in a newly built three-room apartment. Following extensive discussions with the client, two design options were proposed: the first retained the existing layout, while the second involved reconfiguring the space by opening up the living area and incorporating one of the bedrooms into it. The latter option was selected, significantly enlarging the living–kitchen area. This allowed for the introduction of a kitchen island, a dining table, and a distinct lounge zone with a sofa. As part of the reconfiguration, the bedroom was also expanded and fitted with two built-in wardrobes as well as a compact workspace.
In order to preserve the original ceiling height, ceiling structures were adjusted and lowered only where technically necessary, such as for the installation of the ventilation system or recessed lighting. To achieve a sense of spatial continuity, both walls and ceilings were finished with decorative plaster.
The project is defined by strict, rectilinear forms that reflect the dynamism of the urban environment. These geometries are accentuated through the use of metallic finishes in the furniture and exposed luminaires in a stainless-steel tone. Mesh-textured curtains were chosen for solar control. In the living area, blackout curtains were deliberately omitted in order to maintain a visual connection with the rhythm of the city outside.
The colour palette is predominantly dark, with black and grey tones softened by the warmth of natural wood textures. A bold approach was also taken in the bathroom design: the ceiling was painted black and complemented by dark-toned tiles. Carefully planned lighting ensures that the space does not feel reduced; instead, it enhances comfort and dissolves perceived spatial boundaries. Given the dominance of darker hues throughout the apartment, particular attention was paid to the lighting design, with extensive use of LED lighting integrated into the furniture—an element that was fully revealed during the photoshoot.
