Restaurant LA MAISON in Klaipeda

The restaurant, which is located in Klaipeda’s historic centre emanates a cosy french atmosphere. The clients desired a french theme that fitted perfectly in the two storey space allowing the creation of the mezzanine level.
The ground floor and first floor spaces intertwine allowing customers to enjoy the interior elements and the views down to Turgaus Street.
The 1.2 meter diameter chandelier sparkles in the mirror and creates an endless festive mood, a counterweight to the grey days of the port town or a tribute to Klaipeda's longing for beauty sunken in war.
Spaces are flooded with tones of graphic dark grey and French flour, from which the croissants are baked.
This combination of shades provides a calm background to the tapestries of the upholstered furniture. The French flour blizzard gushes from the kitchen to the visitor spaces, leaving footprints on the floorboards, with floury fingers caressing the French chairs, then finally deciding to relax, it lies on the walls in the form of J. Prevert love poems.
Poetry encourages not only to taste and enjoy, but also to talk about your feelings, because here and now, at "La Maison”, it is the the most appropriate time and place, even if you’re here for an early lonely breakfast- the dignified portraits of the second floor might give you a respectful nod, and maybe even wink an eye at you.
