Kupiškio bibliotekos vaikų erdvės interjeras
Interjerą kuria pasakų pasaulis, pilnas fantazijos ir netikėtumų.
Vaikų skyrius yra Kupiškio bibliotekos dalis. Kadangi biblioteka įrengta rekonstruotoje sinagogoje, interjero dominantė - AKMENŲ SIENA. Visi sprendiniai derinami prie jos ir prie viso pastato stilistikos.
Vaikiškų knygų viršeliuose dominuoja ryškios spalvos, todėl visos aplinkos koloritas tikslingai parinktas neutralių tonų, paimtų iš akmenų sienos – įvairūs rudos ir pilkos atspalviai. Taip siekiama išvengti spalvinės nedermės, o kartu išlaikyti ryšį su buvusios sinagogos eksterjeru.
Vaikų bibliotekoje svarbūs ne tik funkcionalūs ir estetiški baldai, bet ir fantaziją žadinantys, netikėti interjero elementai: šviestuvai-gyvūnai, pufai-akmenys, baldai-namai, medžiai-kabyklos, tuneliai ir slėptuvės. Vaikų erdvės viduryje įkomponuojamas daugiafunkcis baldas-namas, kuris atskiria daugialypės terpės (išmaniuosius) įrenginius nuo knygų ir skaitymo zonų.

The interior is created by a fairy-tale world full of fantasy and surprises.
The children's department is part of the Kupiškis library. Since the library is located in a reconstructed synagogue, the highlight of the interior is the STONE WALL. All solutions are combined with it and with the stylistics of the entire building.
The covers of children's books are dominated by bright colors, so the color of the entire environment is purposefully chosen in neutral tones taken from the stone wall - various shades of brown and gray. This is to avoid a color mismatch, and at the same time maintain a connection with the exterior of the former synagogue.
In a children's library, not only functional and aesthetic furniture is important, but also fantasy-evoking, unexpected interior elements: lamps-animals,
poufs-stones, furniture-houses, trees-hangers, tunnels and hiding places. A multifunctional furniture-house is incorporated in the middle of the children's space, which separates multimedia (smart) products and other technical devices from books and reading areas.
